Cal gel

I went to school for Cal gel in CA.
My school was own by Japanese owner so
my teacher and my classmates were Japanese too.

My course was take 40 hours classes then
take a final exam to become a Cal gel pro.
The tuition was around $2000 and less $1000 for materials.
I know its kind of expencive but the school is very small so
everytime I go school me and teacher!!
I learned bunch of skills from my teacher!!

I use Cal gel for base gel that Cal gel is the best clear gel so far.
The point is Cal gel sells only who took Cal Gel lesson so
if you want to buy Cal gel take classes:)

Sha nail

I want to show you super nail sticker its call Sha nail!!
Sha nail described the super detail just like a pic.

I bought a dog Sha nail for my client and she loves it!!
Hope you can see the difference between Sha nail and normal nail sticker.
My big point is easy to use just same as a normal sticker!! not like a minx.....

Japan has bunch of nail shops to buying materials only for pro.
We can buy everything by online for everyone but if you own a salon or
show business card whatever can buy cheaper!!!

America made bunch of good polish like OPI around $4-5.
In Japan, regular preice is 2100 yen but for pro nailist 1100 yen.
1100 yen is the most chepest price in Japan.....

Nail bag

This is my nail bag for doing polish and small art for events.
I bought this bag at MUJI it was ¥2100.
This bag is sell for make-up box, but many nailist has it.

MUJI is very famous shop in Japan and also there is one in NY too!!
They are known for simple desigh and sell food, clothes, and furniture.
MUJI sells only own items which means everything made by MUJI.
Its like a IKEA I guess.

Now, MUJI is taking the all over the world.... you will see MUJI shop soon.

CA license

Today, I want to talk about CA license.

My school call Redondo Beauty College in CA.  
I had to spend for 400 hours at school then I got a chance to take an exam.
It was kind a hard schedule...5 days a week from 8:30 am to 5:00pm.....!!

There are no written exam for Japanese language only English and Vietnam.
It was so hard to understand to me and I failed onece....

My school life was fun and met good friends:)

Hi, my name is Emi from Japan.
I am a nail artist and work as a free-lance.

I used to live in CA as an international student since 2006.
My favorite thing was get nails done at Japanese nail salon when I was in CA.
It was super cute but way to expensive to me, so I realized that I should do by myself!
I went to beauty school and got a CA manicure license and went to Calgel school in CA.
Finally, I finished my school life and come back to Japan for study more nails in 2011.

Now, Im learning more Japanese nail art in Japan and want to bring the skill to the USA!!
